Admission Process
The Director or Principal or admission Centre Incharge of the College shall carry out the admissions for these Free seats/Management quota in the following manner :-
- Admission shall be made in a transparent manner and strictly as per the Merit of the Candidates who have applied to the Higher Authority for verification of college or shall documents and then to the Admission cell.
- Prospectus of the college specifies rules of admission should be published well before the commencement of the process of admission. All the information in the brochures should also be displayed on the college website.
- College shall invite applications by notifying schedule of admission by Govt. of Jharkhand or College Admission cell and the number of seats in each separate course to be filled by the institution, by advertisement on the website of the college. Aspiring candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria as notified by the Government and specified by the appropriate authority, from time to time. Shall apply to the Director or Principal or HOD’s for admission at the College level in on the basis of Merit. The college after verification of all required documents shall prepare candidate seeking admission against these seats shall report to the Admission Authority for admission as per the schedule.
- Important note : Candidates admitted under this provision are not allowed to change course or college in any year of study.
- Cancellation of Admission and Refund of fees, Return of documents by Institutions –
- The Candidate shall apply online/offline mode for cancellation and submit duly signed copy of system generated application or forwarding by Admission Centre Incharge for cancellation of admission to the institution. Once the candidate submits online request or offline request for cancellation, his/her admisssion shall be treated as cancelled. The institute shall consider the online request or offline request mode made by candidate for cancellation as final irrespective of whether he/she has submitted duly signed copy of system generated application or forwarding by Admission Centre Incharge to the college. Upon such cancellation, the candidate shall lose the claim on the seat and such shall become available for further allotment. The candidate shall then become entitled to cancellation of admission and the College shall refund the entire fees to the candidate after deduction of Rs. 1000/- towards processing charges and return all his/her original documents submitted to the college within seven days from submission of duly signed copy of system generated or offline mode application to the institute; candidate shall not be entitled to any refund of his/her tution fee except the Security Deposit. The institution shall entitle to recover the fees for the subscequent years from the student seeking cancellation of his admission at any point of time.
- The Candidate once admitted in First Year/Second Year shall not be eligible for transfer to any other institution during the same academic year.
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Candidates shall be considered for allotment of seats reserved for them as per their Merit, and if seat is not available in their reserved category, then they shall be considered for allotment in Open Category as per the Merit.
- Backward Class Category Candidates shall be considered for allotment in Open Category seat.
Candidate seeking admission in Diploma courses under following procedure :
After completion of JCECEB counselling, open counselling will be organized against vacant seat as per the guidelines of DHTE & Government of Jharkhand. As per directions of Government of Jharkhand tution fees are taken as per fee fixation committee, government of Jharkhand.
- Management Quota Seat : students may register for direct admission through college website.
- Through Jharkhand Combined Entrance Examination board (JCECEB)
- Through Institute Level open Counselling.
